Winter Cricket at Carina Cricket Club

Winter Cricket is designed for players who want to continue developing their game beyond the summer season. Played in a longer format, winter cricket allows players more time at the crease, more overs with the ball, and greater opportunity to build match awareness and confidence.

Running from early May through to late August, this competition provides a fantastic development pathway for committed cricketers looking to take the next step in their game.

Team Allocation

Team numbers are limited to how many teams can be filled. If insufficient numbers are received, some players may unfortunately miss out. We strongly encourage early registration to avoid disappointment. You may include team requests in your registration form.

Age Groups & Competitions

U8–U10

Further details will be provided in the coming weeks when available from the competition organiser.

U12–U16 (Junior Warehouse Winter Competition)

(U11 players welcome — U12 division includes modified rules suitable for U11 players.)

Registration Fees

Register before 6 March to receive the discounted rate of $360.00 (normally $375.00)

Season Dates

Fixtures commence: Saturday 2 May
Season runs through mid-August
Finals: Saturday 29 & Sunday 30 August

Training

All junior winter teams train one day per week. Training times will be confirmed by the coach and manager at the commencement of the season.

Match Times

U12 – U13 – U14: 11:30am – 4:20pm (mixture of one/two day 35 over games)
U15 – U16: 11:30am – 4:20pm (2-day games) OR 11:00am – 4:40pm (1-day games)

Age Eligibility
Players are required to play in their correct age group unless permission is granted by the competition administrator. Please contact: junior.registrar@carinacricketclub.com.au

Requests to play below your age group require approval.
Requests to play above your age group must be emailed to the Junior Registrar.

U17–U18

Players in this age group are invited to transition into Senior Cricket. Please contact the Junior President for further information.
